A war on the Houthis is going to cost the U.S. big money. Department of defence officials have flagged concerns over expensive naval missiles being used to shoot down unsophisticated Houthi-fired drones in the Red Sea, as per the Politico. An official told the Politico that one missile per shot costs up to $2.1 million while a Houthi drone costs around $2,000. The worry mounts after the U.S. formed a multiational naval task force to rein in the Iran-backed rebels in Yemen. Watch for more details.
