The Fegart Stop, County Donegal, Ireland

Several days at the most northern point in Ireland. The little community was named Fegart, which was several miles from Carndonagh. Beautiful place, stunning coastline as the Wild Atlantic Way winds down, and Malin Head was just 5 miles north. The "80 Eire" sign at Malin Head dates back to WWII to alert allied pilots to Ireland's neutral status during the war. Also, legend has it that it was the first land point that Charles Lindbergh saw when he made his historic transatlantic flight to Europe. We visited the Giant's Causeway in N.I., by taking the ferry over from Greencastle, but N.I. is covered in separate video.
