RETREAT - DAY 5 - With Jesus Child and His Family - Reflecting on the gift of receptivity

In this season of Advent, let us prepare our hearts to receive Christ for Christmas.

On this fifth day of the retreat, let us reflect on Jesus' consecration to the Father. Joseph and Mary presents their child to God forty days later. They have received from God this first born child, and now, they entrust the gift they have received in God's hands.

What does this mean for us, today? Let's contemplate the gift of "giving and receiving" from Christ as a child and all His inheritance today in the Church.
