Train DERAILS after colliding with 18-wheeler stuck on tracks

A train was derailed after colliding with an 18-wheeler stuck on the tracks in Aledo, Texas – near Fort Worth – on December 17. According to local news reports, the 18-wheeler became stuck while crossing the train tracks and was struck by a Union Pacific train. The Texas Department of Public Safety said two train engines and 17 train cars were derailed. The news report said, citing the sheriff’s office, that both diesel fuel and oil spilled but there is no danger to the public.
