Marvel Taking the Men OUT of X-Men in MCU Reboot

The latest reports coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, say the studio wants to focus more on the female characters in their upcoming X-Men reboot. This information comes from an insider who says the studio wants to focus more on the female members of the team.

A similar approach was had with Fox’s 2019 X-Men film Dark Phoenix and the movie was a box office bomb. This information also coincides with recent attempts by Marvel to push out their male characters in favor of female characters. Additional reports from Disney’s Marvel says their upcoming Fantastic Four movie will not only focus on Sue Storm, but will also include a female Silver Surfer in a gender swapped role.
