📷 Sukhoi Su-7B "red" fighter-bomber installed in Kazan Victory Park where we have so far seen the Petlyakov Pe-2 bomber, the MiG-17 fighter, the Polikarpov Po-2 and the Mil Mi-2 helicopter . Featuring the classic silver livery, aircraft of this type formed the basis of Soviet fighter-bomber aviation in the 1960s and 1970s, being one of the most effective combat aircraft of their class. On the aircraft, which in the series received the designation Su-7B, the nose of the fuselage was lengthened, equipped with anti-surge doors that automatically open at supersonic speeds. Additional fuel tanks were installed in the wing and the armament complex was significantly expanded, including, in addition to two HP-30 cannons, bombs and rocket launchers on four external hardpoints. The fighter-bomber had an AL-7F1 turbofan engine with 40% thrust (1 x 9650 kgf). Due to the use of a larger afterburner, the tail section of the aircraft received a distinctive "bulge" that distinguished this aircraft from the Su-7. It is visible on Google Maps at the coordinates 55°49'45.8"N 49°06'24.8"E. Photo Sky.n.planes.
