Don’t Look, Don’t Listen

Although some people find the darkness of forests unnerving, I've always thought that there's something rather peaceful about strolling through a forest at night. Just me and the sounds of the wind blowing through the trees, little animals rustling through the leaf litter, and the forest floor crunching under my boots would be all that existed. I had made the decision to go for a walk through my hometown's woods; I always did this when life got too much, and I needed some space to myself today.
