Quality maize production - Stakeholders want government to set up of a grain authority

Stakeholders in quality and safety production, marketing and consumption of Maize products have met in Kampala to discuss maize quality.
This follows recent denial of Ugandan Maize to some markets within the East African Region.
The Acting Chief Executive Officer Grain Council of Uganda Henry Musisi wants government to consider establishing a Grain Authority for quality assurance purposes.
