Disney Gave Up on Doctor Who! The New Doctor is Doomed!

The 60th Anniversary was a record breaking disaster, but according to Disney, it was always supposed to be that way! They weren't ready to back the newly acquired property for their beleaguered streaming service while the most popular Doctor was making his triumphant return, they were waiting for his diverse replacement!

According to Russell T. Davies, it was always to plan to let the David Tennant specials do the heavy lifting on their own by virtue of his star power and the 60th, while get all the Disney money and promotion around the launch of the Fifteenth Doctor! Makes total sense and totally isn't a massive cope to cover up the massive failure the Anniversary specials were...
