Materials you'll need:

Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Colored pencils or markers (optional)
Outline: Start by sketching a basic oval or rounded shape to form the outline of the apple. Keep the shape slightly irregular for a more natural look.

Top and Stem: At the top of the apple, draw a smaller, curved shape to indicate where the stem will be. Extend a short, curved line upwards for the stem. Add a small, leafy shape at the top of the stem.

Details: Add a slight indentation at the top where the stem meets the apple. Sketch in some subtle lines or curves to indicate the apple’s form and contours.

Shading: Begin shading the apple. Reds are darker towards the bottom and slightly lighter towards the top. Shade the sides and bottom of the apple with a darker red tone to create depth and dimension. Leave a small highlight on the top where light hits the apple.
