One woman dies in Overland Park apartment fire

One woman is dead after an apartment fire at Overland Towers, a complex at 86th and Farley. According to the Overland Park Fire Department, when firefighters got to the scene, they found the fire in a second-story apartment. The crews working to put the fire out found the deceased woman in the apartment. She has not been identified but is believed to be the resident of the unit.
