We recently rescued a stray cat named Marge Simpson. It took a while for her to calm down and get used to Louie and Clarence and being inside. Louie took this as an opportunity to flirt with her. But I don't think she is interested. I met Louie 2 years ago in a Circle K parking lot. He had been abandoned by his family when they were evicted. He's been my best pal ever since.

Please spay and neuter your pets. And if you find a stray who isn't fixed, reach out to a local animal rescue and try to ensure that they are treated. Cat overpopulation is a horrible issue that hurts animals, humans and most importantly, our environment. Cats can make the most incredible companions and friends. But left alone to overpopulate, they are an invasive species. Their ability to breed rapidly, and ferocity combine to create a genuine problem for the areas around them. By helping to control feral populations, you can make a significant impact on the environment and in the end, climate change.
