Residents shelter in tents after China earthquake

Residents of China's Gansu province were forced to shelter in tents on Tuesday (December 19) after a magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck the region just before midnight a day earlier. At least 127 people were killed and hundreds more were injured in the disaster which brought widespread destruction.
