Defiant Zelensky says Ukraine plans to mobilize 500,000 more soldiers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has unveiled bold plans to mobilize an additional 500,000 troops to confront Russia.

In a rare year-end address, the resolute leader acknowledged the challenges of the past year but affirmed Ukraine’s commitment to persevere and achieve victory.

Zelensky unexpectedly convened a press conference to discuss the current state of the conflict and outline strategies for the approaching year.

Initiating his speech, Zelensky acknowledged, “This has been a challenging year coming to a close.” Nevertheless, he urged Ukrainians to maintain their resilience, emphasizing, “We are striving for a future of our own choosing, not dictated by the Russian Federation.”

To realize this vision, the determined leader revealed that the Ukrainian military has requested the conscription of an additional 450,000 to 500,000 personnel, the U.S. Sun reported.
