BPD investigating a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield

Two people are reportedly injured after a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield early this morning. An elderly man was shot in the stomach, according to Bakersfield Police, and was taken to Kern Medical for treatment.  An elderly woman was also reportedly injured with non gunshot wounds.  One person was put in backseat of a police car, however according to Bakersfield Police that person was not under arrest and was only being taken in for questioning.
