‘Biblical’ plague of frogs, toads and tadpoles causes multi-car pile-up

A plague reminiscent of biblical proportions, featuring toads, frogs, and tadpoles, wreaked havoc in a Honduran city, leading to a multi-car pile-up.

The amphibians infiltrated the streets and homes of Choloma following heavy rainfall, causing drains to overflow and puddles to emerge.

The infestation commenced on December 3 and persisted for at least three days, according to local accounts.

At one juncture, a pick-up truck skidded on the slime-coated surface, triggering a pile-up involving at least five vehicles, including a tanker, two lorries, and a motorcycle that was left charred, Metro reported.
