HAMAS TO FRANCE: RETURN ALGERIAN SKULLS!

French President Macron shouldn't preach human rights as long as it keeps the skulls of Algerian martyrs in French museums.
That's the view of Hamas representative, Osama Hamdan. His show of support for Algeria is not surprising as the north African country declared 'full solidarity' with Palestine following October 7th's escalation.
And his dislike of France is not unexpected either, given Macron has strongly criticised Hamas and called for an international coalition to fight them.
But all that aside, Hamdan raises an important point. The Musée de l’Homme in Paris continues to keep the heads of 37 Algerians decapitated during the bloody French conquest in the 19th century. Before being sent back to France as trophies, they were shown to Algerians to scare them and quell any rebellion.
Three years ago France saw fit to repatriate 24 of them, but failed to return the rest. Surely it's time all are given back. They are national heroes and deserve a dignified resting place.
