Merry Christmas!! On Day 7, we are making yummy snacks for our family Christmas movie night!

Grilled Cheese & Ham Sandwiches:
Bread Slices
Butter (softened-room temp is best for spreading purposes
Mustard or Mayonnaise (optional)
Deli Meat of Choice (optional)
Cheese slices of choice
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice, place one slice (butter side down) into a saute or fry pan that has been heated on medium heat, working quickly spread the mustard or mayonnaise then layer the deli meat and cheese, top with a buttered slice of bread and monitor closely while flipping the sandwich from side to side until both sides are golden toasty brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from pan and place onto a plate, cut in half and serve. Enjoy!

Mini Pepperoni Pizzas:
1 Pillsbury Pizza Dough Crust
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can tomato sauce
1 package of pepperoni
1 16 oz package of shredded mozzarella
Preheat oven to 400. Stir garlic powder into the melted butter. On a cookie sheet, roll out the pizza dough crust and cut into 6 squares. Brush the garlic butter onto each slice of pizza and place in preheated oven for 3-5 minutes until top is slightly puffy and golden in color. Remove from oven, let pan cool to avoid anyone getting burnt and then layer in this order, tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni and more cheese to top it off. Place back in oven and bake until the cheese is melted and golden in color. Serve and enjoy!

Spinach Dip:
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 16 oz. container of sour cream
1 package of Knorr Vegetable Spring Mix
1 can sliced water chestnuts, (drain all liquid)
3-4 green onions
2 boxes of frozen chopped spinach (leave out on countertop for about an hour to allow for some thawing)
Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and Knorr vegetable spring mix together in a large bowl (with lid) and set aside. Chop the water chestnuts and green onion into small bite size pieces and add to the mayonnaise/sour cream mixture. Finish thawing out and cooking the spinach in the microwave in 1 minutes increments stirring after each time until the spinach is completely cooked, once the spinach is cooled enough to handle, squeeze all the liquid out of the spinach and then combine that with the rest of the ingredients. Once all is mixed together well, cover with lid and chill the dip in the refrigerator for one hour, then serve with crackers (Sociables is best) and enjoy!

Hershey's Kisses Blossom Cookies:
Cookie dough of choice (peanut butter, sugar work best)
Hershey Kisses of choice
Bake cookies according to recipe on package or your own family recipe. While the cookies are baking in the oven, unwrap the Hershey kisses and place in a bowl (kids love helping with this part!). Once the cookies are removed from the oven and while still warm, place a Hershey kiss in the middle of each cookie, remove from pan and let cool on wire rack. Serve and enjoy!
