On December 9th, a destructive tornado tore through Clarksville, TN, claiming the lives of 6 people, injuring dozens, and leaving 160,000 people without power.

Crisis Response International promptly mobilized to Clarksville and collaborated with Riverside Church to provide relief and address the essential needs of those suffering in this crisis. CRI engaged in crucial tasks such as debris removal, recovering and processing personal items, visiting the homebound elderly, sick, and disabled, and offering pastoral care to those enduring unimaginable loss.

Serving those in need, particularly in times of crisis, stands as a vital expression of love for our communities. John 13:35 states, "By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another." It is this love for one another that leads people to Jesus.

Heartfelt gratitude to CRI responders, Riverside Church, and all volunteers for embodying the compassionate hands and feet of Jesus for the countless individuals impacted by this disaster.
