The Tories just outflanked Starmer by backing a ceasefire!

David Cameron has moved the Tory attitude towards Israel and Gaza - very slightly - but it's still wrongfooted Starmer!
Right so to demonstrate just how lacking in the ability to lead Labour leader Keir Starmer is, the useless man has just allowed the brand new unelected life peer and equally unelected Foreign Secretary David Cameron to completely outflank him on the matter of a ceasefire. Cameron is not called without good reason the most pro Israeli British PM ever, but even he, for all the vast faults and awfulness he is responsible for as a former PM and a Tory one at that, can see the need for an actual sustainable ceasefire, not a pathetic humanitarian pause where you let a bit of aid in before the shooting begins again.
Now you can argue Sunak hadn’t arrived at this position either, which is a fair point, but when Starmer has made a point of copying the Tory position on so many things, not least the ongoing atrocities in Gaza at Israel’s hands, a position whereby Sunak and so Starmer as well have allowed the US and the Biden administration to effectively dictate our foreign policy, Cameron’s swing to backing a ceasefire has completely wrongfooted Labour and they just let it happen. They are in opposition. If they were an actual effective opposition that shouldn’t be possible, it should be their comfort zone to take apart the government for what they are doing, but so much on the same page have both parties been, that the governing Tory Party has totally outflanked Labour and they look like absolute mugs. Keir Starmer has been shown to have zero leadership qualities when all he does is follow the establishment line like a good little sheep and has been shown up to have less moral fibre than a Tory, less than architect of austerity David Cameron even. That is tragic.
Right, so Keir Starmer has been made a complete mug of by David Cameron and it’s not even like Cameron had to try very hard, he just had to attempt a half passable attempt at acting like a human being and pretend that he gives a damn about the plight of Gazans under Israeli attack. We know the bombing has been indiscriminate, we know Israel has deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, from hospitals to schools. They have levelled houses, they have bombed refugee camps, they have deliberately targeted journalists, killing more of them since October 7th in Gaza, then were ever killed in either world wars in their entireties. They have killed their own Hamas seized hostages, they have killed so many Gazan civilians and consider it justified if they manage to take out a few Hamas operatives in the process. As far as the UN is concerned Article 99 has been triggered over their actions. Resolution 377 A has been triggered due to their actions. It is just incredulous that they shouldn’t be damned for what they have done and yet with the UK supplying military arms and equipment manufactured here in the UK – we don’t make much here anymore, but we can sure as hell make weapons for Israel – an opposition party worth its salty, would be having a field day laying Tory support for this bare, but instead, being led by a red Tory like Keir Starmer, it’s been a case of who can grovel to Netanyahu harder, him or Sunak!
