Iraqi council elections: Almost 17 million voters head to polls on Monday

Nearly 17 million voters are going to the polls in Iraq to choose from more than 6-thousand candidates for provincial council seats. Due to political disputes among its multi-ethnic population, it's the first elec-tion to be held in Kirkuk province since 2005.
