Humble Putin admits an initial "naivety" of West's hostile attitude towards Russia, despite working for 20 years in intelligence positions.
There is a middle class in the special services, in the media, in the political elites, who are used to fighting Soviet Union. Later I became absolutely, 100% percent convinced that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, they thought to be patient a little, and Russia would collapse.
Such a country [Russia] is still quite large by European standards, with largest territory in the world, and with fairly large population compared to European countries, it's suggested by US to divide it into 5 parts and subjugate these parts separately - Putin.
