Saddle hunting by nature is a minimalistic method of tree hunting, but every ounce of gear you add, quickly turns into pounds. Too many of those pounds, and your setup is no longer “minimalistic”!

I am comfortable enough to call myself a gear junkie, but one thing I always try to make sure of, is if i am adding gear to my saddle setup, it is either going to reduce weight or be more efficient… preferably both!
