Did you know that Austria has plenty of Christmas markets? But the biggest is on Vienna’s Rathausplatz, the square in front of the city hall. This Christkindlmarkt is the centrepiece of the Vienna Christmas Dream experience, attracting thousands of tourists around the world.
Though the market itself delights with its mix of traditional Christmas sights and smells, make sure you also wander through the surrounds. It is absolutely amazing. You can find here most traditional foods and drinks. Such as, cream-filled pastries and a dozen varieties of pretzel to giant doughnuts and of course, Christmas punch 🤩 Be prepared for an awesome atmosphere:)
