Cape Coral Assistant City Manager on Paid Leave

A domestic violence investigation has forced a Cape Coral city official to be placed on paid leave. Cape Coral Assistant City Manager Michael Ilczyszyn is now on administrative leave, pending the outcome of a domestic violence investigation, according to City Manager John Szerlag. The city will have no further comment until the investigation is completed. Ilczyszyn has been in his current position since 2015 and has been with the city since 2002.
