What is the Suicide Rate of Those Who Have Undergone Gender Transition Surgeries?

Dr. Jennifer Bauwens, FRC’s Director of the Center for Family Studies, testifies before the House Judiciary Committee on the Harms of Gender Transition Procedures. She cites a Swedish study that shows the suicide rate among those that have undergone these procedures is 19% higher than the general population. The study spans a period of 10 years because regret doesn’t happen right away. The results of these procedures are a 100% Failure rate as it is impossible to change your sex.
