Operation Santa Claus facing donation shortage in 43rd year of providing for families in need

For decades Della Lamb Community Services has worked to make Christmas more special for families in the Kansas City metro area. Distribution will soon begin for nearly 1,300 pre-qualified families at 500 Woodland Ave., but organizers said they're still in need of certain items. They’re asking for help so the ‘season of giving’ doesn’t stop early.
