Planned Obsolescence, Breakage, in Trucks, Cars and SUVs?

Do manufacturers of Trucks, Cars and SUVs make them now to have planned in Obsolescence, Breakeage, or is it just me seeing this? Really I've noticed the worse early breakage in household appliances and it is a historic fact that this was done deliberately with collaboration for light bulbs but have you noticed it in other modern items as well?
