Ho Ho Ho! Christmas Cookies Recipe

It's the Season for Holiday Cheers, this Recipe makes a wonderful assortment of colorful Christmas Cookies.

Christmas Cookies
Ingredients:
325 gr Flour
180 gr Sugar
250 gr Butter
9 gr Vanilla Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt

Glaze:
3-4 tbsp Powdered Sugar
1 Lemon, juiced
Red Food Coloring
Cocoa Powder

Decoration:
Red Sanding Sugar
Green Sanding Sugar
White Sugar Pearls
Chocolate Candies

Cookie Cutters (Christmas Tree, Stocking, Santa Hat, Snowflake)

Line Cookie Sheet with Baking Mat

Cream together Butter and Sugar, add Egg, Vanilla Sugar & Salt.
Add Flour and knead until Dough comes together.
Wrap in Plastic and refrigerate 1 Hour.

Preheat Oven 350° F

Roll out half of Dough on floured Surface, cut out Shapes with Cookie Cutters.
Place on Cookie Sheet and bake 10-12 Minutes.
Transfer to Wire Rack and cool completely.
Repeat with the Rest of Dough.

Mix enough Powdered Sugar with Lemon Juice until the thickness of Glaze to your liking is achieved.
Divide the Glaze (in 3 small bowls) and add 2-3 drops of Red Food Coloring to one, stir.
Add 1/4 tsp of Cocoa to another and stir.
Use the White, Red and Brown Glaze to decorate the Christmas Cookies topping with the Sanding Sugars, Sugar Pearl's and Chocolate Candies to your liking.
