Today is going to be cool and breezy, but we should keep things quiet after a dusting of snow last night. Look for increasing sunshine through the day. Highs will only be in the middle-20s. Clouds thicken up again tonight as the next system starts to get closer. We should keep things quiet though with overnight lows in the mid-teens. We have a clipper system on the way for later Friday and especially Friday night which looks like its going to be bringing us some snow. Most of the daytime hours on Friday should be okay until we head later in the day, which is when our chances of snow start to increase from the north. Highs will be in the upper-20s. The way things are looking right now, snow should be moving into the rest of the area through Friday evening. Watch it on the evening commute as it looks like the timing for that may not be favorable. As of this writing, it looks like a lot of us will see 1-2" of light, fluffy snow out of this with the higher totals to the SW and lower totals of only a Tr.-1" to the NE. Either way, be aware that for many of us, this might be our first snow we have to shovel. At least it will be easy to move. This clipper will keep the cold air in place into the start of the weekend. Some milder air does move in for Sunday into Monday with highs getting back into the lower-30s. It won't last long though. A shot of even colder air looks to move in for next week. Monday, there's another chance at some light snow.
