Human Suffering in the French Revolution

All our terminology of Left and Right which we use in contemporary politics in the West, are derived from these events in 18th century France. For those not entirely in the know, when you held an assembly of political discourse, there was a chairman in the center, and those landowners, attendants, and officials who sat to the left and those to the right. The Left wanted to take the revolutionary fanatical zeal even further still, although they already achieved liberalism; whereas the Right wanted to maintain the newly attained level of (classical) liberalism, which the fire and blood of revolution had produced. This is often confused with those who stood on the Right being in support of continuing previous monarchical status-quo, but this is inaccurate. The easiest way to understand the French Revolution's significance is to simply think of it in terms of; The Right supporting classical liberalism whereas the Left supports taking the extremity of the revolution even further. A fitting parallel to what we face today. And to ask oneself, if one already lives in a liberal society, then what happens to an already very liberal system when it insists on becoming more liberal than it already is? (the answer is miserable horrid communism of course)
Which is why we confidently oppose such foolishness in the name of meritocracy, tradition, and patriotism. Thanks for watching.
