Dr. Makis earned a 4 year undergraduate degree in Immunology at the University of Toronto, a medical degree at McGill University, and a 5 year medical specialization in Nuclear Medicine Radiology and Oncology. He worked for AHS at the Cross Cancer Institute as the Head of the Medical Isotope Cancer Treatment Program, and he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Alberta. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed medical publications, recipient of a governor's general medal, a top Substack publisher, and is the Chief Oncologist for the Wellness Company.
