poem WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO?

Do we close our eyes, pretend all's okay,
While the world's in motion, things slip away?
Is it wiser to know, to be ready and aware,
For what's ahead, in months and years to bear?

Who judges good, who labels bad?
Responsibility lies, not with just a single lad.
If not you with care, who then will decide,
Our future's path, in this tumultuous ride?

WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO?
Indifference leads, to future's decay,
Oversight fuels, what gets in the way.
Who'll take the blame for destruction to come,
If not us all, for the things left undone?

Who judges good, who labels bad?
Responsibility lies, not with just a single lad.
If not you with care, who then will decide,
Our future's path, in this tumultuous ride?

It's up to us now, to mend what's gone astray,
Take charge of tomorrow, in our hands it'll stay.
Decide what's right, act with love and might,
Shape a future where darkness turns to light.
