Why is Jesus' dying on the cross so important to Christians?

The purpose of this video is to try to explain to people who are not Christians why Jesus died on the cross for our sins or who wonder why he’s so important to Christians. In it, I hope to explain why Jesus was sent by God the Father in heaven to die on the cross located outside of Jerusalem at Golgotha, how it is that mankind is born into sin, why that isn’t acceptable to God, and being Christian meaning, we will live with Jesus for eternity by accepting him as our Savior and Lord.
