A Palestinian journalist was hospitalised after Israeli forces beat him in occupied East Jerusalem on Friday while he was covering a group of people preparing to pray.
Mostafa Alkharouf, a photojournalist working for the Anadolu Agency, was seen pinned to the ground by an officer while another one kicked him repeatedly.
He suffered injuries to his face and body, and was later taken to the Makassed Hospital for treatment, Anadolu Agency said.
Another cameraman and Middle East Eye contributor Faiz Abu Ramila was also assaulted by Israeli forces in the same incident.
