"And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing but encouraging each other and all the more as you see the day approaching."

- Hebrews 10:24-25

In our society, many people tend to be "open" about many things but oftentimes, the focus isn't the right things. People want to know about your interests, hobbies and the like. Plus, with the degenerate nature of our world; one's intimate sexual drive.

With such inquiries of an individuals personal activities; it hasn't made closer communities but rather superficial ones. Where those that are accepted within the collective; are only those who agree with the accepted social mores.

As Christians, those choosing to only share the trivial; opposed to matter's of the heart; miss out on untold blessings. Though Western values have a strong Biblical background; not all of it is based upon God's Word.

The Christian existence isn't merely just about you and God. The notion of being self-dependent, isn't completely Biblical. The whole, "Lone Ranger" mentality; where a person thinks God and them are enough; really doesn't know the Bible well.

God didn't only send His Son to die on the cross, so that you can be right with Him but that you also have God's love for other people. The Bible puts it this way:

"Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His one and only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another."

- 1 John 4:7-11

This ties into an important aspect to this video. It's very bold to broadcast one's personal problems out to the public. In doing so, it makes a person vulnerable. Yet, here's what many Christians miss out on. The Bible is clear that there are additional blessings that come along with others praying for your needs.

"Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I AM there among them."

- Matthew 18:19-20

Jesus pointing this out means that there is an added significance with others praying with you. There would be no need for this to be brought up; if there wasn't a different dimension of prayers being answered.

"Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect. Elijah was a human being as we are and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and for three years and six months it did not rain on the land. Then he prayed again and the sky gave rain and the land produced its fruit."

- James 5:14-18

This verse is the foundational point of why Roman Catholics justify their beliefs of priest absolving a person of their sins. Since there are many other verses in the Bible that makes it clear that only God has the power to forgive sins; the Catholic notion isn't how this Passage should be looked at.

The only way to interpret any of the Scriptures; is to let the Bible do so by looking at the entire Bible. In doing so, what we see here is the need of other sections of the Bible to analyze this.

"Pride comes before destruction and an arrogant spirit before a fall."

- Proverbs 16:18

"Everyone with a proud heart is detestable to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished."

- Proverbs 16:5

"But He gives greater grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble"

James 4:6

When a person chooses to tough it out and handle struggles; regardless if it's a sin that one hasn't overcome; to having a hard time paying one's bills; what prevents a person from sharing these problems? It's pride. The feeling of embarrassment, shame, inadequate; all of that is pride.

To be humble enough to ask help, to be bold enough to share struggles you are dealing with; by sharing it with others; you could experience the blessings you've been waiting for. The freedoms from sins you haven't beat and illnesses that are part of your body.
