YOU ARE NOT PREPARED! Helping vs. Hindering Others with Their Case Work
This video aims to address a recurring sentiment I often hear in the Truth and Freedom circles: the notion that if you’re lacking adequate knowledge regarding your case, or a given legal/lawful topic, it's not worth pursuing and you should simply stop in your tracks. There are different versions of this critique, but it's usually something along those lines. While I agree it is important for individuals to assess their readiness based on their own educational journey, discerning whether absolute preparedness is necessary, or even attainable, is an equally important aspect to evaluate.
In the end, it’s a decision that everyone has to carefully make for themselves, based not only on their educational level, but also the myriad of other factors at play, one of which may be a pressing sense of urgency to act before it’s either too late, or some unpleasant consequence ensues from inaction.
But the question remains, once an individual has sufficiently balanced the risks and benefits of various courses of action, when will they know that it's safe to proceed? When is good enough, good enough?
In the video, I highlight that, sometimes, circumstances leave people with no alternative but to move forward with what they have. This may stem from impending crises, lack of options, or worse, coercion or duress, compelling them to act rather than succumb to external forces. I also emphasize the importance of trying something… ANYTHING… when the potential gains far outweigh the fruitlessness of stagnation or victimhood.
When family livelihoods are at stake, one's propensity for risk-taking naturally escalates. I advocate for offering support to those individuals, rather than criticizing their decision to move ahead. Imagine if instead everyone shared their experiences and supported each other as they explored uncharted paths. It would foster confidence in the face of challenges, which would more than likely have a ripple effect, and exponentially help an even greater number of folks, who would then go on to help others themselves, essentially paying it forward in a shotgun blast of solidarity.
Ultimately, we all start off as novices; even the most courageous freedom fighters and light warriors were once newbies in their journey towards enlightenment. Remember that the next time you decide look down on someone because they are not as advanced as you, or judge someone poorly because of their comprehension of a political system of control that was designed to be as cryptic as possible. As with most things, compassion and empathy are what's needed here, not needless discouragement, disparity, or ridicule. The statists and collectivists pull that trip on us enough as it is. We don't need to also do that to ourselves.
