Easiest Way To Remove Corrosion - From a Battery

you can use regular water not hot it will work as well but hot water seems to work the best for me and really get deep down into the cracks and crevices and just basically melt off all the corrosion from the battery and the hot water cuts the grease that may be around the terminal also make sure you use enough water to flush as much of that stuff away from the battery so it doesn't sit down in the tray and on the wiring harness so make sure you use a lot of water to flush it away when you're done
