San Francisco Made Shohei Ohtani Sign With the Dodgers!

Shohei Ohtani signed a record breaking 10 year/ $700 million contract to become the face of the Los Angeles Dodgers. To show what type of a class act he is and how committed to winning he is, there are interesting perks and benefits cooked into the contract to make the Dodgers as great as possible. But it was a contract that almost never happened.

One of the teams on the short list for Ohtani was supposedly the Dodgers inter-division rivals, the San Francisco Giants. According to Buster Posey, the Giants floated a nearly identical contract, but Ohtani was discouraged to sign in the Bay Area due to the dilapidated condition of the once great city. Rampant crime, unchecked homelessness and the doom loop the home of the Giants currently is in has not only scared of the greatest player in Baseball, but other athletes as well.

Democrat policies are now beginning to have real world consequences on an international level. You love to see it.
