Easy to Read Version

The ERV Bible has been developed over a period of 30 years. Published 1989, with a major revision in 2015. Written at a third grade reading level, using short sentences and everyday vocabulary, they state that this translation is one of the easiest to understand English language versions ever published. The ERV uses simpler vocabulary and shorter sentences while maintaining the integrity of the original texts.
