Warren Sapp SMASHES Cam Newton for Trashing NFL Quarterbacks | Ep 587
Cam Newton continued his streak of saying outlandish things on his podcast. This time the former NFL MVP decided to trash several of the current candidates for the award by calling them the dreaded “game manager.” Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champ Warren Sapp isn’t hearing it. “You talk about a glorified running back playing the quarterback position? That’s exactly what Cam Newton has always been.” Sapp joins “Fearless” to defend Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy and serve Cam with a reality check. Whitlock and Sapp hit the headlines from around the league, including Patrick Mahomes' meltdown following the Chiefs' loss to the Bills. Is it fair to question Mahomes as a leader following his officiating tirade? Tyreek Hill missed most of the Dolphins’ Monday Night Football loss to the Titans with an ankle injury. Did that setback actually bolster his MVP case? Philadelphia has lost two straight. Are the Eagles just overrated? And Jason asks Warren an important question: Can athletes make too much money?
