Zephaniah 3:17 New King James Version
17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR ONES!!!

You know gang, this morning scripture spoke deeply to my heart, because like many of you, I'm bombarded with everything on the Internet and social media, sometimes it's really hard to take. I feel like as Nicholas Carr stated so very well, “like a guy on a jet ski”, in the midst of all the advances in technology, communication, and social media, that I tend to have my focus distracted. I tend to want and seek things that don't satisfy through social media, and that's very dangerous. I think that's why I'm extremely grateful for the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will really challenge your heart to them.

How does technology influence your ability to rest quietly before God?

Does your phone contribute to your contentment?

Why or why not?

Tonight, my dear friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me on this very issue, walking through His Word tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, will really challenge you and speak to you on this issue. Please, join me in this vlog tonight, and learn how with God's help you can find quiet contentment and, amid the distractions! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I really challenge you to think about how technology does affect your ability to rest quietly before God, and to get control of the technology before it controls you. Ask God to help you see and act on the fact that your technology doesn't satisfy, but only He does. Take time to night and every evening, to just put away your smartphone, the electronics, and just focus on God and His Word. It doesn't have to be for an extended period of time maybe about 20-30 minutes maybe not even that, but take time to focus on God's Word, and what He has for you. Most of all, as I stated this morning, I pray that you choose to seek that satisfying goodness that God offers. That you choose to trust God as a little child, rest in His contentment, love, and know that He truly alone is the one that offers hope. It truly is a soul satisfaction that no smartphone app or any form of technology can touch, and I pray that you will seek it every day.

UNTIL FRIDAY MY FRIENDS:

HAVE A VERY TRANQUIL AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
