Channel 7 Anchor Stephen Clark retiring at the end of February

After 16 incredible years as a news anchor and multi-platform journalist at WXYZ, and a career spanning more than four decades, Stephen Clark has decided to retire at the end of February. Stephen has been a valued member of the 7 Action News team and has made a tremendous impact on our station and the Detroit community. In addition to reporting and anchoring newscasts each night, Stephen has been an integral part of all of Channel 7's signature events including; the North American International Auto Show, Detroit Grand Prix, Woodward Dream Cruise, Campus Martius Holiday Tree Lighting and more. Please join us as we congratulate Stephen on this exciting new chapter in his life. He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather who is looking forward to spending more time with his family. Stephen’s selfless dedication to the Scarlet’s Smile Foundation is truly inspirational. Retirement will also allow Stephen, an accomplished country musician, to continue to pursue his passion for writing and performing music. He will most certainly be missed.
