Reading the Bible in 1 Year - Leviticus Chapter 1 - The Burnt Offering

We’re reading through the Bible this year to learn about God’s love, patience, and forgiveness to help us better live fulfilled lives. We are in Leviticus Chapter 1, The Burnt Offering, in the Old Testament. This tells us about when the Children of Israel turned away from God and had to rebuild the Tabernacle, Ark, Table, and everything to worship God in the Promised Land. This outlines God’s relationship with Moses and how He wanted to rebuild his connection with the Children of Israel who rebelled and worshipped false gods. God wanted to start fresh with a new Tabernacle and the Ark of the Testimony (think Indiana Jones). Join us as we read through the Bible this year and discuss what we get out of each of the chapters.
We are learning more about God and how there’s always hope for forgiveness and fresh starts.
We hope you’ll take this deep dive into Exodus with us, while we discuss the Children of Israel (Children of Jacob) and their history.
We’d love to have you read along with us as we share the Good News in this online Bible Study. The Bible teaches us the history of Judaism and Christianity and the Muslim background, which all came from Father Abraham.
We are searching to learn life lessons taught in each chapter and hoping to spread the positive messages shared such as gratitude, and thankfulness for our many blessings, in this perfect time of the year to reflect.
