This is a series for my money guys and collectors where I calculate and assemble the 8 most expensive pokemon cards from classic sets, according to their most recent sales on the highest grade.

ex Firered and Leafgreen attracts the attention of collectors that may not normally care about the ex series sets due to this being a very Kanto themed set. Its biggest highlight for collectors are the ex prints for the original Kanto starters with the original charizard ex here being one of the most expensive and sought after cards of all time. Power wise, this set did bring a lot of strong cards as attackers and the most used consistency pokemon in the era, pidgeot.
