Meanwhile Hamas terrorists attempted to ambush Israeli soldiers with RPGs and attacked with rifles as they ran through the streets in Gaza and attacked from hidden mortar positions. Israel has expanded its ground assault into the southern half of the Gaza Strip since a truce collapsed last week.
