The Harvard psychology professor Steven Pinker has argued that contrary to popular opinion, we might just be living through the most peaceful times in history. Although that was before the current wars in Gaza and Ukraine.

We spoke to Professor Pinker just before we went on air and asked him if we should be cheered by today's news coming out of COP28.
