A Georgia man experiencing homelessness faces charges of making terroristic threats after allegedly holding two journalists from a TV station hostage for 90 minutes.

The man reportedly threatened to shoot them if they contacted the police or declined to order him food.

Asia Wilson, a reporter with Atlanta News First, and photojournalist Lauren Swaim found themselves in a frightening situation late Monday as they were about to broadcast live from a sheriff’s office parking lot in Jonesboro.

They claim they were cornered by an intoxicated man who asserted he had a handgun, the New York Post reported.
