Isreal war

President Biden has recently expressed his strongest criticism of Netanyahu, urging him to support a two-state solution to the conflict, which would require Israel to surrender control of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Biden also accused Netanyahu of launching indiscriminate military campaigns in the Gaza Strip, which could jeopardize US support. Netanyahu acknowledged that such a solution would require him to make mistakes similar to those made during the Oslo Accords. The US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are expected to visit the region in the near future. In response to the increasing tension, the UN General Assembly has called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages, with 153 countries voting in favor. Despite this vote, it is unlikely to have any impact on the ground as Israel is unlikely to change its stance. Additionally, the US is not expected to cut off its aid to Israel, as evidenced by its recent veto of a similar UN Security Council resolution.
