Q: Is this recorded live?
A: No, we play a regular session of D&D and record it locally. Then we go back, and add sound effects and music, create and render the video to post later.

Q: Is the session itself cut/edited at all?
A: The magic of live, table D&D is preserved. The players don't know what's going to happen, and nothing is ever changed from gameplay to posting. However, during session if we fumble our words, cough, make strange noises, we cut those out to "clean up" the session to keep it entertaining to listen back on.

Q: Is the story scripted?
A: Never. Wes the DM spent 6 months building the world and "Context" around what's happening on the island of Crow Perch. Sometimes sessions will take twists that genuinely come from left field, and THAT is why we love D&D, and also why this story couldn't be told using any other medium.
